Privacy policy

1. What we collect

• Sign-up (Google, NAVER or Kakao): the account ID the provider shares, your email (if the provider shares it), the nickname and nationality you choose, and your language / optional: phone, gender, age group (with NAVER sign-up we receive gender and age group from NAVER's consent screen, and your mobile number only if you agree)
• Reviews: rating, text, time and language
• Reports and inquiries: what you write, and your email (optional)
• Automatically: a cookie that keeps you signed in. We don't store your IP address; to prevent abuse of the report form we keep only a one-way daily hash of it.
• Location: “Near me” is calculated on your device and never sent to our server.

2. How we use it

• To identify you and keep you signed in
• To publish reviews — your nickname and nationality are shown with your reviews. Phone and email are never shown.
• To prevent spam, ads and abuse
• To reply to your inquiries (phone or email)
• Usage statistics (gender and age group — looked at only as anonymous totals, never shown)

3. How long we keep it

• When you delete your account, your profile and reviews are deleted immediately.
• The sign-in cookie expires after 30 days.
• Where the law requires us to keep data, we keep it only for that period.

4. Sharing

We do not sell or give your personal data to third parties.

5. Processors and international transfer

• Cloudflare, Inc. (USA) — website hosting and data storage (Cloudflare Workers, D1). Data: the account and review data above. When and how: sent over the network when you sign up and use the site. Retention: as in section 3.
• Sign-in providers — Google LLC (USA), NAVER Corp. (Korea), Kakao Corp. (Korea): you sign in with them to verify your account, and we receive your account ID and email. From NAVER we also receive gender and age group, and your mobile number if you agree.

If you prefer not to have your data transferred, you can skip signing up — everything except writing reviews works without an account.

6. Your rights

In “My account” you can view or edit your data and delete your account at any time. For anything else, use the Report / Contact page.

You must be 14 or older to sign up.

7. Review guidelines

• Only review places you have actually used.
• Not allowed: abuse or hate, personal information, ads, links or contact details, false claims, paid or incentivised reviews
• Reviews with 3 reports are hidden automatically; we then check and delete or restore them.
• We never alter ratings or ordering. Reviews are shown newest first.
